1. Recognize the devil as the origin of sin Genesis 3:3-7

Genesis 3:4 (NLT) “You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman.

Genesis 3:5 (NLT) “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.”

James 1:13-15

3 . Recognize Jesus as the solution 1 Corinthians 15:56-57

Romans 6:11 (NLT) So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus.

Romans 6:12 (NLT) Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires.

Romans 6:13 (NLT) Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.

Romans 6:14 (NLT) Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.

God told me once and He said, if your mouth is not full of Thanksgiving it will be full of complains , and He said to me again when what He has done is not regarded flowing in thanksgiving then complains begin and He backed up what He said to me with His word as seen in Numbers below

God made a Blood covenant with Abram by taking animals, splitting them in two, and God walking in their blood (Genesis 15:9-11, 17-18).

Genesis 15:9
So He said to him, “Bring Me a three-year-old heifer, a three-year-old female goat, a three-year-old ram, a turtledove, and a young pigeon.”

Genesis 15:10
Then he brought all these to Him and cut them in two, down the middle, and placed each piece opposite the other; but he did not cut the birds in two.

And when the vultures came down on the carcasses, Abram drove them away.

Genesis 15:17
And it came to pass, when the sun went down and it was dark, that behold, there appeared a smoking oven and a burning torch that passed between those pieces.

• Abraham was called the (covenant) Friend of God (James 2:23).

• We are part of Abraham’s covenant with God because we are Abraham’s seed(Romans 4:13).

Romans 4:13

The Promise Granted Through Faith
For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

The woman Eve is not your problem cannot be your problem.

When there are trying situations people go back to time of Adam and Eve and point accusing fingers on Eve .

The Need For A New Covenant

Hebrews 10:3
But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year.

For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins.

The blood of Animals cannot take away sins, cannot serve as atonement but the blood of Jesus

Hebrews 10:8
Previously saying, “Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them” (which are offered according to the law),

Hebrews 10:9
then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second.

The purpose of the new covenant is about the forgiveness of Sin.

The Temple in Jerusalem had a veil that was a demarcation, but When Jesus said, “It is finished,” the veil was torn in two from top to bottom.

The significance of this is that we now have direct communication with God the Father and do not require any form of sacrifice because Jesus has paid the ultimate price making the sacrifice once and for all by His blood.

Matthew 27:51
Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split,

• The First Covenant was finished because Jesus’ blood was shed. o Sin is no longer a problem for the believer.

• The Holy of Holies is now open. The presence of God is no longer in a building; it’s on the inside of us.

In the First Covenant, atonement for man was accomplished by the sacrifice of an animal (Hebrews 10:11).

The High Priest entered into the holy place in the Temple every year to offer a sacrifice of atonement (Exodus 30:10).

Atonement means “to cover,” and their sins were covered by the animal sacrifice, these activities are no more and have become abolished by the new covenant established by the blood of Jesus

• The New Covenant is in the blood of Jesus.
• Jesus is the Mediator of the New Covenant (Hebrews 9:14).

This Covenant is the will of God and without the shedding of blood, there is no remission (Hebrews 9:22).

• Remission is a release from bondage, forgiveness or pardon of sins, letting them go as if they had never been committed.
• Jesus appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself (Hebrews 9:26).

What Is In The New Covenant For You

1. Having Identity With God

God recognizes you, God knows you, knows your name , knows your heart desires , hears your deepest cry

that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

2. Access To The Voice Of God

5. The Blood of Jesus Speaks For Us

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name

Let the blood of Jesus Christ speak for you today , giving you unhindered access to God

4. Doing The Work of An Evangelist

2 Timothy 4:5
But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

5.Prompt Obedience To Every Instructions Of The Almighty God Starting With The Bible

To obey early ,as soon as instructed

His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”

Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim.

You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates,

that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, like the days of the heavens above the earth.

And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

Why Live This Way

1. Faith Pleases God

• life without faith is disgusting to God

Hebrews 11:5
By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

2. God can never fail and you will never be ashamed

• What God has commanded He will see it that it comes to pass

Jeremiah 1:11

The word of the Lord came to me: “What do you see, Jeremiah?”
“I see the branch of an almond tree,” I replied.

Jeremiah 1:12

The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.”

Isaiah 55:10

As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,

Isaiah 55:11

so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Romans 9:30
What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness of faith;

but Israel, pursuing the law of righteousness, has not attained to the law of righteousness.

If there is no limit to what God can do , Why still having the thought of having to surrender to Jesus Christ or not ?
